Peru Balsam Essential Oil

Peru balsam was traditionally used for treatment of wounds, ulcers, scabies & bed sores. It is recommended for sores & wounds that are slow to heal, chapped skin & eczema.

It is excellent at clearing phlegm so may be beneficial for respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis & chronic coughs. Like other balsams it has a warming, comforting quality so may assist with nervous tension & stress.   

Therapeutic properties: antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, expectorant, parasiticide, stimulant.

Ingredients: Peru Balsam (myroxylon pereirae) essential oil.

Not suitable for children under 2 years. Can cause skin sensitisation for some individuals if used topically.
